CREDAI Kolkata organized the 3rd edition of its annual 'Diwali Nite'
The programme was hosted by the President and Office Bearers of CREDAI Kolkata, with the evening bearing testament to bonding between members young and old. Special invitees from the Government too graced the occasion.
The 2nd Edition of the CYW Bowling Tournament was held on 17th September'25. Spouses of CYW members also participated for the first time in the tournament.
The team 'Pin Pals' won with a haul of 1287 points.
The event was a fun sports outing and also helped to foster a sense of community amongst CYW members.
Members of CREDAI Kolkata and other city chapters of CREDAI West Bengal were part of CREDAI NATCON 2025 at Singapore. The annual overseas real estate conference hosted by CREDAI National brought together the latest industry trends, innovative materials, new construction methods, and the philosophy and culture shaping the sector. More than one thousand real estate stakeholders were part of this year’s NATCON.
The CYW Kolkata Study Tour to Ahmedabad was a greatly enriching experience with twenty three participants visiting nine sites including a special interaction with the Padma Shree winning architect Dr. Bimal Patel at the CEPT University.
The tour promoted new learnings and an extensive exchange of ideas and camaraderie amongst all the CYW members.

The Foundation Skill Training Programme for CREDAI East Zone was organised by Merlin Group at the Merlin Rise site at Rajarhat, Kolkata. Thirty workers have enrolled for the Shuttering-Carpentry trade and is undergoing a ten-day training (six-hours practical and two-hours theory classes) every day. Successful workers will receive an NSDC & CREDAI certificate. The Skill Training Programme for Construction workers is an initiative by the CREDAI CSR Foundation.
CREDAI Kolkata held its 36th Annual General Meeting and Change-of-Guard Ceremony at Kolkata where Mr. Apurva Salarpuria took over the reins from Mr. Sidharth Pansari as the new President of CREDAI Kolkata for the next term.

The new Board Members of the Managing & Executive Committee were also announced at the ceremony.
Mr. Sidharth Pansari, outgoing President, CREDAI Kolkata acknowledged the voluntary service extended by all members of the Board towards the various activities and programmes of CREDAI Kolkata and thanked all members including the very active Youth Wing (under-40 members) for their active involvement in CREDAI Kolkata’s activities, events and CSR during his term.
He further added, “Personally, for me this journey of the last two years has been deeply fulfilling. Of all the things that we achieved in my term, the highlights would certainly be increased transparency, enhanced camaraderie amongst members and robust and timely liaison that we pursued for the betterment of the real estate industry in Kolkata and the two Parganas. As my term comes to an end, it’s my pleasure to hand over the baton to Mr. Apurva Salarpuria, a fellow CREDAI peer and a good friend and I wish him all the best in his tenure as the incoming President of CREDAI Kolkata”

The city and greater Kolkata is growing at an unparalleled pace and members of CREDAI Kolkata will continue to address the housing and other real estate needs of citizens of Kolkata, North and South 24 Parganas by developing spaces in sync with their needs and aspirations”.
Also, on the occasion, the annual book ‘Milestones’ was released by former Presidents of CREDAI Bengal Mr. Pradeep Sureka and Mr. Nandu Belani and former President of CREDAI National, Mr. Santosh Rungta. The compilation is an annual publication showcasing the work of the association carried out over the past year.
CREDAI Kolkata has signed an MoU with Kolkata Municipal Corporation, pledging ₹5 crore for the renovation of the Roxy Cinema Hall. The MoU was signed in the presence of the Mayor Shri Firhad Hakim at the KMC Headquarters.
The 127-year old Roxy Cinema, a landmark heritage building, will soon be on the revival path, with CREDAI Kolkata sponsoring its interior reconstruction. A city-based architecture firm has been commissioned for the work.
CREDAI Kolkata donated Rs. 34 lakhs to Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) for 'Kolkata Shree Awards'
A special event held at KMDA Projects further highlighted the spirit of community engagement and environmental responsibility. The event was attended by Shri Firhad Hakim, Hon’ble Mayor and Minister of Urban Development and Municipal Affairs and Housing, Government of West Bengal, who appreciated the dual impact of the campaign on society and the environment.
CREDAI Kolkata associated with IGBC for their annual Green Bengal Summit 2025 to align with the objective of empowering Bengal’s sustainable built roadmaps. Representing real estate’s stakeholders, CREDAI Kolkata was part of the day long discussions focusing on climate resilient urbanisation, net-zero strategies and a circular economy in construction.
CREDAI Kolkata participated in the ‘Beat Plastic Pollution’ event organized by the West Bengal Pollution Control Board, GoWB on World Environment Day. The state government has taken many measures along the years to reduce single-usage plastic as they particularly prove hazardous to the environment including the rivers and canals. Micro-plastics are a huge menace too as they are practically invisible but are very harmful for human beings. CREDAI Kolkata was a part of the conversation at the event to create programmes and modules to minimize plastic pollution.

The Awards Night for the Cricket Tournament 2025 was also held where the winners including this year's champion team were awarded for their great performances. The night was followed by fellowship amongst the CYW members led by the new office bearers.
The 4th CREDAI Youth Wing Bengal Cricket Tournament 2025 was held at the Spring Club on May 3rd, 2025. Four spirited teams competed in a friendly yet competitive environment through the day, showcasing excellent sportsmanship and talent. The occasion was graced by Shri Sujit Bose, Honourable MoS, Fire and Emergency Services, GoWB. The Tournament was won by Team 'Parksmart Pistons'.
Earlier, to kick off the tournament, an exciting auction night was organised. This fun event brought together the team captains, team owners, and many other CREDAI Youth Wing members who bid on players to build their teams for the upcoming tournament.
CREDAI Bengal celebrated the annual ‘Holi Utsav’ for members, to celebrate fellowship in the spirit of the festival of colours.
CREDAI Bengal convened an Extraordinary General Meeting which was followed by a town hall with members on 27th February 2025 at The Park, Kolkata.
The 6th edition of CREDAI Bengal Golf Tournament was held on 25th February’25 at RCGC, Kolkata.
Our Golf outing is part of CREDAI Bengal's member fellowship endeavor organised by the CREDAI Youth Wing (WB) led by Mr. Suhel Saraf, Mr. Rajat Pasari and Mr. Yashaswi Shroff.
